Migraine headache, cold, excess sweating with osteoarthritis. Treatment.

Resolved Question:

For the past two days i have been having really odd symptoms. I am a 23 year old female with a history of severe osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and some form of insomnia. I have been taking a number of medications ranging from NSAID's, muscle relaxants, opiate pain management and cymbalta. I have not changed or stop/start any of my medication for a long while, I have been using these form of treatments since I was 18 years old. Yesterday, I had a migraine start late morning, and last until this afternoon around 3PM. This migraine was one of the worst I've had (I don't have many). Later on while running errands with my partner I felt like I was about to pass out in the store. My face got extremely cold, covered in sweat. My back started sweating, my legs began to shake and I felt very faint. I took a heart rate test and was 153 bpm. I felt like I was very close from collapsing as I was so disoriented. My partner bought me some water and candy as he thought I was just lacking sugar and dehydrated. After sitting down for quite a while I regained strength again and carried on with my day. Later on today, around 9PM I realized most of my body was very hot to touch, red, and blanching extremely. It starts below my breasts down to my feet. All areas blanch, but the worst is my (full) legs. It takes around 40-45 seconds for my legs to turn back to it's red colour after being pressed lightly. I have elevated my legs, put cool wash clothes on them and have taken a herbal diuretic. I would like to know what could possibly going on, with the symptoms I have had the past 2 days i'm worried something more serious might be happening. Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I apologize for the exceptional delay in replying and thank you for your kind patience.
Well, sometimes cycles can be delayed due to conditions such as stress, anxiety, weight changes (since your current weight is leaning towards being obese, I would recommend weight reduction as well), unaccustomed exercise, traveling, late nights, smoking and drinking could be potential reasons.
Periods can also be delayed due to mild hormone imbalance. Since your pregnancy tests were negative this could be the most likely reason.
I would advise you to visit a gynecologist in person and get evaluated for an internal exam, Pap smear, pelvic ultrasound scan and hormone levels (FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, lipid profile)
These tests should rule out polycystic ovaries, endometrial hyperplasia, hypothyroidism which are reasons for irregularities in periods.
Afterwards, you can be prescribed progesterone tablets to induce your periods.
Feel free to discuss further, I hope this helps
