Abdominal cramps with bleeding after CRINONE for IUI.

Resolved question:
Hi I had an IUI at my fertility clinic 7/22. A few days after the insemination my doctor had me start taking crinone 8% gel once a day. I went in for my blood pregnancy test Tuesday 8/4 and it came back negative so he told me to quit my crinone suppositories. Today 8/6 I began having severe lower abdomen cramps. When I went to the bathroom in the toilet was two large blood covered objects and alot of smaller blood covered tissue like objects. I say tissue because it had white type substance inner twined with dark blood. Is this my body reacting by me no longer taking the crinone?

Hello
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
It is possible that the lining of the uterus gets built up more than normal while on crinone.
IT contains progesterone that supports the fetus in case you conceive, but that also thickens the endometrial lining in case you do not.
So it is possible to have a discharge of the lining of the uterus that looks like clots and blood covered tissues, while stopping Crinone.
Please mention it to your doctor anyways, and see if she / he wishes to do a scan.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
