Abnormal ELECTROCARDIOGRAM with INFERIOR INFARCT and SLEEP APNEA.

Resolved question:
This question is to Dr. Hermant Garg, as a follow on to our May/June correspondences:

How are you doing Dr. Garg.

I really appreciate all your genuine care and advice.

Just wanted to update you that I have lost 25 lbs (~ 11 kg) (was 200 lbs, and now 175 lbs) and have been exercising on the threadmill for 30 minutes a day, while keeping my heart rate at 125 bmp or less all throughout.

Per your recommendation, the threadmill is set at level (not incline for safety of my knees).

I am also regularly taking 40 mg of lipitor, fish oil, and CoQ10 supplements.

One thing I have never mentioned in the past that I may also have sleep apnea, where few times a year I may just feel gasping for air at nights.

The concern I have is, sometimes when I do abrupt motion or just start walking briskly, at the beginning of this I feel pulpitations of the heart as if skipping beats or heart just jumping.

Is this something I need to be concerned about?

Attached, is also my lipids and blood levels measured on July 02. (my cholestrol was 160).

Here are also the results of my last week’s EKG (09/02/2015).
Component Standard Range Your Value

I got worried, and had another EKG yesterday (09/10/2015). Attached are those results as well.

What do you recommend me to do now?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have reviewed your previous conversation with me, and I have reviewed your history.
It is great to note that you have an active lifestyle now, and that you have lost so mucb weight.
Your reports are normal, and the palpitations do not really suggest anything to be worried about.
As long as your reports are fine, you should not worry.
Feel free to discuss further.

Thanks for the prompt reply and care.
1). but it was with Dr. Garg that I've consulted before.
2). Why would last week's EKG report say abnormal?
3). Do I need further testing?

Expert:  Dr. Hemant Kumar Garg replied 3 Days.

Sorry, due to some technical error, we could not change the specialist name before. This is Dr. Garg.
Sometimes such minor variations show up, you do not need any further testing.

Thanks so much Dr. Garg for the detailed look at my reports and the prompt feedbacks.
I’ve heard that it is possible for someone to have minor heart attacks before and not know it.
Is it possible to be the case in my situation based on all the results so far?
Assuming, there was a minor heart attack, what would that mean about the life in the future?
Are there remedies to it?

Expert:  Dr. Hemant Kumar Garg replied 2 Days.

You have made great progres, and you should not worry about heart attacks.
At present you are doing all the right things and keeping the heart in great shape.
Regards.

1). So, you are tellimg me even if there was previous minor heart attack, with the good lifestyle it will not cause future trouble?
2). Attached, is also blood work from July/02/2015.

Expert:  Dr. Hemant Kumar Garg replied 1 Day.

Yes, you can't control the future turn of events, however, if you asked me, seeing your current reports and lifestylee measures, you should not worry.
Regards.
