Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
I presume he had suggested FOLFOX4 regimen (which contains Oxaliplatin).
The overall survival with this is about 19.5 months.
Without treatment the survival would be for less than 3-4 months.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K

Hi,
The information provided are just statistics.
These are all from the case studies and research publications.
There are instances where the individual live beyond the expected survival period and sometimes less than that too.
This patient has stage IV disease.
To put it in a different way, the 1 year survival rate is about 44%.
And the five year survival rate is about 10%.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr.R.K.
