Can CT show big tumour in colon/anus obstructing food.

just for info. can a tumour if it is big enough in colon or small intestines or anas to obstruct food from passing through will be picked by ct scan of abdomen without contrast

More often than not , Contrast enhanced CT scan abdomen pelvis will better delineate any bowel wall pathology/ tumor ....also contrast will help is stage the tumor better , in terms of spread to adjacent lymph nodes & its local inasiveness into the adjacent neurovascular bundle .
So ALL CT scans done in cases of bowel pathologies are incomplete without contrast.
