Does LOBULAR BREAST-CA patients have ALLRED score of 8?

Resolved question:
I have lobular breast cancer with an ALLRED score of 8. Do MOST lobular patients have an ALLRED score of 8 c? ( know that lobular tends to be estrogen positive more than ductal does).

Hello

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

I can understand your concern.

I would like to see a picture of the lesions to first confirm whether it's molluscum.

Molluscum do tend to reccur for a few months as it's a viral infection and it spreads by autoinnoculation.

But if they are occurring at very frequent intervals and in large nos. its best to request your doctor to order tests to check your immunity.

Please send me a picture.

Thanks

They are on the back of my upper thigh and butt cheeks. There were a few on my inner thigh but those are so far clear. As u can see in some of the pictures scabs are forming over the ones that just got froze off last week. I feel like I see red bumps everywhere but can't yet identify them if they are molluscum or not :( Finally, when I went in November they didn't freeze them as aggressively as this past time, so every one of them came to a white head like a pimple and they told me to pop them. I popped them with gloves on, then cleaned them out with alcohol, and put a bandaid over them. This time around, my dermatologist froze them off very aggressively and I feel like I'll have scars! I can deal with scars! Thank you so much for your time. I'm currently using the "forces of nature" product and their soap.

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

From the picture that you have sent it doesn't look like Molluscum. Do you have any more pictures?

It looks like Folliculitis which is a bacterial infection in the picture that you sent me.

Thanks

I just took those pictures I sent u about what it looks like now. I think because it was burned off, they don't look the same. They look exactly like regular molluscum prior to having them burned/frozen off. I have got folliculitis before that's similar to like ingrown hairs from shaving? These are different. I wish I had a picture from earlier. Please give me feedback for molluscum and feedback for folliculitis so I can take some action. Thank you again for your time and you quick responses! Very much appreciated!

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

Molluscum as i mentioned before spreads by autoinnoculation. A few recurrences are known however if you get repeated bouts then it would be best to request your doctor to check for your immunity.

Folliculitis is a bacterial infection of the skin which is seen commonly after shaving. Application of mupurocin cream on the lesions tend to resolve them.

You could apply the Mupirocin cream on the burnt off lesions for faster healing.

You could visit your dermatologist for a review on the new lesions.

Thanks

What is autoinnoculation?
thanks!

Hello,
The term autoinnoculation means self-implant.
In the case of Molluscum Contagiosum, when you touch or scratch a portion of your body which has the Molluscum and then touch your body elsewhere, you in effect transport the virus to the new area of the body.
To reduce autoinnoculation and thereby the spread by self to other areas of the body:
1. Continue to practise good hand hygiene as you have been doing so far.
2.Do not irritate the bumps further by picking or scrtaching at them. During the day time, keep that area clean and dry and covered with clothing or bandage. At night, unless you come in contact with another person leave them uncovered to help them heal.
Hope this helps
