Dear Doctor.
First of all i want to thank you for the amazing site you have here to assist people and help.
My STORY is i Had one unprotected sex with a woman unknown HIV status in 05 March 2015 and since that time i have not any sex with any woman its 100 days now, as am so so worry since and i really tired from thinking too much in this even not sleeping well, i got many HIV FINGER PRICK RAPID TEST from many manufacturers and i use to make tests almost weekly with 3 or 4 different rapid tests and it was all negative, one friend told me i should wait 3 months which i did and yesterday was 100 days and i did four rapid finger prick tests and all was negative i think no one can notice it or maybe , my question is am i ok now? i should not worry again , is the finger prick rapid test good or reliable enough to give you good results after 100 months ? should I go for other tests again
By the way I have very strong immune system and healthy, what does that mean ? delay the positive repulses or make it faster

I have gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety. I assure you that rapid tests for HIV are pretty accurate (more than 99% accuracy). In most cases, these tests detect antibodies against HIV virus within 3 to 4 weeks of infections. As you have taken tests after 100 days you don't need any further tests. Just one think I forgot to mention in my previous query,
Yesterday one of the tests among the four I did gave me a very very faint white line on T it's not even red or maybe I was imagining not real I don't know!! But I repeated immediately with the same manufacture rapid test I tested twise and did not see that faint line

As the other tests are negative there is nothing to worry. For you own assurance, I advise you to take standard HIV test done by a health care provider. A single test is enough.
Doctor , sorry if am asking much same things but just last question , do u advice me to take standard test done by health care becuase i told u about the faint white line or becuae of my anxiety? again am i in a good situation
