My lmp was april 14th. I'm currently on my period. I had very tender breasts for two weeks when i usually only have them for 2 or 3 days. My period this month started off slow and light pink instead of red. It hasn't been as heavy as it usually is. I have been frequent urination and i haven't been drinking that much. I've been feeling tired alot I even took naps this weekend and I never take naps. When I go to bed i feel nauseated. Most food I would normally eat I can't stand right now. I've taken 3 tests that turned up negative. I thought maybe they couldn't read my hcg levels or something. My headaches have gotten worse. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about two years. I'm not sure what else I can give you. I've also been having stomach pains. I know what constipation feels like and this isn't constipation. I've also been feeling sensitive where my clitoris is concerned especially when I have to urinate.

Hello,
Firstly since you are on your period, there is no way you're pregnant.
Period- whatever the flow may be is the first sign that pregnancy is ruled out.
Your symptoms are suggestive of an urinary tract infection- fatigue, excess urination, sensitive clitoris, all indicate a local infection.
You can start Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 1 week. I will also advise you get your urine evaluated.
If you have not been able to conceive in 2 years, after trying regularly, it is better to contact a gynecologist who can do routine investigations for both of you, to find out why there is no pregnancy.
Regards.

That doesn't exactly follow my mom had her period the first 3 months that she was pregnant with me. Maybe I'm the same way.

In that case, you can go for an ultrasound whole abdomen.
That is the definite way of knowing about pregnancy.

So I wouldn't be able to find out with an at homepregnancy test?

Expert:  Dr. Jaydeep Tripathy replied 1 Day.

Since they have been negative, they are accurate 95 % of the times.
And once a month has passed from the expected date, the urine pregnancy tests are 100 % conclusive.
It is better you get an ultrasound done, since you mentioned it used to be negative for your mother too.
Regards.
