Is there a possibility of HIV transmission through needle without any blood visible?

Resolved question:

Hello doctor,

I am worried about having transmitted with the HIV virus because I have referred to some genital warts pictures. My work involves a lot many pins and therefore many times I am pricked by these pins, though it does not bleed but is it possible that I got transmitted with HIV through those infected needles?

Thank you for the question and your concern. First of all I would like you to know the initial symptoms of the HIV. These include night sweats, fever, fatigue, rash, sore throat and oral ulcers. Various genital warts pictures demonstrate these symptoms. In case of being infected by this virus a person is liable to have these because of low immunity to various other infections. If you have faced any such symptoms as well then you need to be attentive in this context. The modes of transmission of HIV are the unprotected sexual intercourse or sharing of a needle as well. Therefore you have a possibility if the needle had already been infected by this infection. There are a lot many people infected with this virus all over the globe therefore it is highly recommended that you take care when working with needles that are imported from various parts of the world. Adding to the information, I would also like you to know that a lot many people do not immediately show the mentioned symptoms. As seen in the genital warts pictures the symptoms are also liable to disappear in a few days therefore a person needs to be very careful in observing them. Blood tests allow a person to diagnose the HIV infection. Therefore I would suggest you to approach a physician in this regard and get your blood checked. In the meanwhile I would also recommend you to not to go through any sexual activity. Take care and all the best with tests.
