Is VOYEURISM symptom of PARAPHILIA due to VANLAFAXINE?

Resolved question:
sir i am 34 male and a hypocondriac patient and taking treatment from the last 5 year... i have asked question through this site about paraphillia doubts,,, my history> my hypocondriasis is about the occurance of schizophrenia .. my psychiartist prescribed venlafaxine xr 75 mg per day and i got remission 90%.. then 3 month before my psychiartist reduced the dose to 37.5 mg. then onwards i am a littlel anxious and some irrational doubts arising..
now my doubt is about paraphillia disorder sply "voyeurism"... cz> one week before i have a discussion with my firend about the paraphillia, then he told some symptoms of voyeurism{ my fiend is not a doctor}
... then onwards i have a doubt that have i get voyeurisom , i know its mere anxiety because i never experienced any paraphillic symptom in my life and i have no high sex drive and after the snri medication my sex drive reduced a little bit too..,

and sir my doubts are in my teen age i have seen some porn videos mainly 18 to 28 age bt its only occasionaly not regularly( if only get a safe chance).. then the next when i went to swimingpool for swimming i watched my same age girls and aunties with short dress ( my all firends are samely interested to watch this)..in two more times in college hostel me and my friends watching through window our laundry lady's seen when she was washing.. this is only the incident occured in my life and none of my friends (engaged on that) hadnt a voyeuristic persons yet... after my 30 i am not interestd to any other sexual activity early described.. and i am keeping a decent life..

my doubts are the incidents i described earlier are .. was a onset symptom of a voyeuristic charactor,,, and i am fearing i will be a voyeuristic in future... again i am surely tell sir any other voyeuristic symptom i havent in my life like spying camera... or wandering for getting porn scenes like,,, sire give me a reply....

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You have mentioned three incidents, that of 1) Watching porn occasionally 2) Watching ladies/girls in swimming pool and 3) Watching a lady wash clothes secretly. Now all of these are quite normal experiences and are considered as experimental during the childhood and teenage years. Most of the people go through these phases. There is nothing abnormal about it and nothing of it makes you susceptible to vyourism.
Also as we had discussed before:
1) Taking antidepressants wont make you paraphillic.
2) Age of development of paraphilia is very early mostly by the age of 17 years - 18 years.
Its probably your anxiety issues that are making you anxious about the thought of developing vyourism. If you are convinced with the explanation then its ok, other wise you need to see your psychiatrist and an increase in your antidepressant dose may be warranted.
Hope this helps.
In case you have any additional query, do let me know.
Kind regards
