Kancer sores on top, bottom of tongue. Cause?

Resolved question:
I have a lot of, (almost a virus type thing) kancer soars on the top and bottom of my tongue, it comes and goes periodically but it's absolutely miserable. What is causing this and what can I do to prevent/help this?
