Medication for fall, due to LOW BLOOD PRESSURE, BRONCHITIS.

Resolved question:
My father in law went to the er this morning after falling for the second time in two days die to low blood pressure. He is on a number of different medications, and is still fighting bronchitis. He is also diabetic, is on medication for gout and medication for an eye with a torn retina. He is adamit about sticking with the same hospital, but over the last few weeks we have become very concerned about the care he has been getting. The drs can't seem to figure out why he is on half the medication he is on, they don't have answers, no one is communicating with us. We have definitely lost faith. They have just called to say he has a blood infection, they don't know from what, but his blood pressure is
back to normal. Is it time for us to step in and have him moved to a different hospital? Maybe fresh eyes could shine a light on some of these ongoing issues. He was at the drs three times this past week, for dizziness and blood tests. Yet, in the er today! Please help!

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have seen the brief history you have sent about father in law, its sad that he has been to hospital quite frequently.
The history is very brief without describing the risks factors , duration of the symptoms , vitals of the patient and the present medications he is taking with the dosages .
I would be happy to guide you ,if you can give the detailed history, medications he has been taking and investigations he has done. You can also send all the DISCHARGE SUMMARY of previous admissions, so that i can get inputs about his health status.
Hoping for a early recovery and discharge from ER.
Regards
Dr Satish
