Hello,
Thank you for choosing Doctor Spring. The symptoms that you are experiencing could be due to various reasons. Before evaluating those options let me know which birth control pill/shot are you on? since how long are you using this pill/shot? Have you missed any pills in between/taken the pill after more than 12 hours of regular taking time?
Please provide us with all the details to help you better.

Hello,
Thank you for writing back to us. Irregular consumption of pills and/or irregular time of taking these pills increases chances of failure. Hence chances of pregnancy increases. Have you had a missed period?/ Bleeding between periods?
These symptoms could be a result of other reasons also like hormonal imbalance, gastroenteritis, food poisoning or simple indigestion etc

If you have tested for pregnancy with a home pregnancy testing kit with negative results, it is important to get a blood test done for pregnancy for accurate information on this.
Rare but possibility of an ectopic pregnancy is also present. An ultrasound examination can help in confirming this.
Meanwhile you can take OTC ondansetron half an hour before taking food to control vomitings. Try and take small amounts of fluids frequently to avoid dehydration. Also you should follow alternate methods of contraception like condoms along with your pills for effective protection against pregnancy until vomitings subside.
If vomitings do not subside with these measures you need to get in touch with the ER for administration of fluids and further evaluation on this.

Hope thsi helps.
Do write to us for follow ups.
Thank you.
