Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Dear, I have read your history and saw the attached report.
As per the MRI report, your both hip are involved and have avascular necrosis of femoral heads both sides. Right side collapse is more then left but left is also involved.
As per your reports, In view of joint edema, sclerosis and collapse of the femoral head, it is labelled as stage 3 AVN (FICAT classification).
As treatment guidelines are concern, stage 3 AVN usually don't have any scope of conservative treatment and one has to plan surgical procedure; hip arthroplasty.
I advise you to discuss your case with your Orthopaedic surgeon and decide the best treatment plan.
I hope my opinion will help you.
Get well soon dear,
Stay happy & healthy,
Thanks.

Hi Thanks for coming back to me. It's not good news knowing what stage I am.
I have heard about a new technique "combined simultaneous hip replacement with stem-cell therapy" stem cells to form a graft that rejuvenates and repairs damaged bone"
Can it be a option for me or I have passed this stage...
Thanks for your help

Hello,
Greetings from DoctorSpring,
Thanks for writing back to us.

Stem cell therapy is a very new technology to treat damaged hip and early results are promising. This procedure is usually advised for early stage of AVN in which collapse is not seen. Further more the best opinion can be given by only by the centres who are doing this procedure.
As a surgeon, I can advise you only the most devolop surgical procedure for stage 3 AVN case; Hip Arthroplasty/Replacement. We have good long team results of this procedure.
You can come to our centre in delhi to discuss in person but we do not offer stem cell therapy. We do only hip arthroplasty/replacement.
Get well soon,
Stay happy & healthy,
Thanks,

Hello,
Thanks for writing back to us. I have full sympathy with you.
Dear, As we have discussed earlier, it appears to be stage 3 AVN. We do not have any definative method to find out the time frame from one stage to next stage. It has lot of uncertainty. But treatment for both stages (3 & 4) are same; THR.
I hope that my opinion will help you.
