Numbness, tingling, discomfort in ankles, whitish patch in gums.

Numbness,tingling,discomfort in feet and ankles on the outer part pinkie toe side for past 8 years. Worse when sitting or laying down. 3 weeks ago same symptoms started in my hands. Pinkie outer side of hand only. About 6 months ago my tongue taste buds started getting enlarged and swollen. On the bottom of gums in front I have a whitish patch which feels sore.

Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of peripheral neuropathy, a disease of superficial nerves (located in skin) of feet and hands. This can be confirmed by doing nerve conduction studies.
In addition, tests would be needed to determine the cause of nerve involvement. This would include blood sugar, vitamin B12 and D levels, thyroid profile, ANA, etc.
Initial treatment consists of pregabalin capsules for relief of symptoms.
