Pain along inner thigh

Resolved question:
whats wrong with me? I am a 20 year old male. I have pain along my right inner thigh, it is decent but only activates if I touch it and slightly when I walk. It feels similar to the pain or stretching a muscle, but im almost positive it isnt that. I also get a strong odor coming from my penis when I pull the foreskin back and is slightly moist.
No pain elsewhere. No pain when I urinate, and it is normal colour. No other symptons besides the ones I mentioned.
I had unprotected sex two weeks ago and am worried it could be an sti. Am I just being paranoid or?

Hello,

Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring.

Having unprotected sex will put you in risk for a STIs. However these two symptoms are not directly suggestive of a STI. This does not mean that you are STI free, but there is no reason for worry. Pull back the foreskin and clean the area with mild soap. Keep it dry for some days. The smell should disappear in few days. Do note some amount of smell from the smegma is normal. But if there is significant smell even after 2-3 days we need to consider the possibly of a fungal infection (candid) infection.

The pain in the inner thigh is most likely unrelated. It could be due to pinched nerve. It should resolve by its own in few days. Do check if there are any swelling in the upper thigh near the groin crease (lymph nodes).

Anyhow it is better to get an STI screening tests done from your nearest STI resting centre.

Hope this helps
