Dear Doctor,
I have been suffering from peryonies disease and to treat this I have been using extenders. Are they helpful or do they make the situation worse. I need your help.

Thanks for the question. According to the recent studies it is noted that usage of extenders for Peyronie's disease is not of much use. It may have acceptable results and prevents the progression of the disease. There are much better option available for this disease like oral medication with vitamin E and PABA, injections and extracorporeal shock wave treatment which provide better results than the usage of extenders. It would be best if you consult your doctor for these alternative options if you are not satisfied with the result of your extenders device.
