PHOBIA about MASTURBATION leading to ageing.

Resolved question:
I want to ask does masturbation lead to ageing? I am a 29 year old male, single and I masturbate twice or thrice a week so is that ok? Sometimes when I dont masturbate regularly and I have noticed that my sperm turns yellowish in colour, is that fine?

I have a phobia that when I masturbate I age. Some people say that masturbation helps in looking young.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
There are lots of theories about masturbation and individually without any medical evidence, a lot of people go on to state how masturbation is harmful and affects health adversely.
Reality though is very different. Masturbation, is in fact, extremely healthy, and lets us express our sexual desires. It is rather a healthier process as it helps get rid of old semen and boosts new semen formation. A frequency of 3-4 times a week is normal, and some people complain of fatigue if done more than that.
There is no relationship between aging and masturbation. These are again individual thoughts and not medically evidenced. So please do not worry, and if you have the urge you can masturbate.
Feel free to discuss further,

Patient replied :

What about the yellowish semen? Is that normal or is it because I dont masturbate regularly? Also I want to ask that if I stop masturbation altogether is it going to be bad for my health?

Hello,
Yellowish semen is not normal. In that scenario, your semen needs to be tested.
If you stop masturbation, the semen production will be slower compared to previous times. It would not be bad for health.
So, you need to visit your local physician, explain to him about the yellowish semen, and get a seminal analysis done.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
