Hello,

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com. I can understand your concern.

From the picture, the lesion seems to be an epidermal cyst. It's a cyst of the skin and is not related to sexual activity.

It's a benign lesion and wouldn't cause any harm to you. The best method for treatment would be getting it excised or burnt off from your doctor.

There would be no cream that would resolve it.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further queries, please feel free to discuss further as follow-ups.

Can this cyst affect my sex life? can it grow in size? is it necessary for me to get it removed? can i treat it myself in some way?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

The cyst won't affect your sex life unless it grows quite big in size. It can grow bigger.

It's not necessary for you to get it removed unless it becomes very big in size and causes discomfort during sexual activity.

There is no way to treat it yourself at home.

What caused a cyst on my penis ? Should I need to take some further precautions ? How much will it cost approximately to get treated by a doctor and how long doctor will take to take off the cyst ?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

There is no cause for the cyst to form. There is no precaution that you can take to prevent it.

It takes not more than half an hour to remove it.

The cost of treatment would depend on the doctor, the method of removal etc.
