Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
I went through your reports.
You are positive for anti mitochondrial antibody and anti smooth muscle antibody.
I would like to know some more information before I can give my opinion.
1. What symptoms you have?
2. Why were these tests done?
3. Was an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done?
Please get back to me with these information and I would give my opinion.

Hi my symptom is really only fatigue. I have been getting itchy skin and right stomache pain but those two are most likely in my head as I really didn't feel them till I got the blood test back. Yes an ultra sound was done the only thing they found was fluid around heart and liver but that was before this blood test was done.... This is why the tests were done i went to my doctor for a routine physical which led to my liver enzymes being elevated so she sent me to a ct scan and ultra sound where the fluid was discovered and I went to a Gastroentelosigt to see what he said about the fluid and he told me to take that blood test... Also if it makes a difference my grandmother has celiacs disease and a throid issue not sure which one and I know my dad is hyper and my mom is hypo thanks... also does it mean anything that my titer was only 1:20 so it was basically just on the border. and since its 1:20 does that mean its just going to go up or is it possible to stay at 1:20. also lately i have been having muscle soreness mainly in my biceps

Hi,
Thanks for providing the additional information.
It looks like you have an overlap of autoimmune hepatitis with primary biliary cirrhosis.
I would advise you to have a liver biopsy done.
This is to confirm the diagnosis and to determine which component is the dominant one.
Determining the dominant component helps to plan the treatment.
You may asked to take UDCA and steroids as treatment.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
