Raised FASTING, PP sugar level. Should I take medicines?

Resolved question:
I am not a diabetic but my family is. I am aged 53. So far my sugar level was within normal prescribed limit. Today I checked up my sugar level both fasting and PP. It shows 184 and 304. I am a regular walker and avoids sugar and sweet. So far I have not taken any medicine. But this reading makes me realise I need to take medicines. If so what do you suggest?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Sexual activity is permissible throughout pregnancy, as long as the pregnancy is not high risk.
I would recommend going in for a pelvic scan to document the well being of the baby , confirm the heartbeat and rule out any risk factors.
Once the scan is normal, it is safe to have sexual activity.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.
