Random tiny red dots under skin which disappear. Cause?

Resolved question:
I get random tiny red dots. Just one at a time under my skin. I usually get them on my torso in different places but again only one at a time. It looks like petechie. They come at different times in different spots no rhyme or reason. They dissappear after a week or so. I've attached a picture but it's after a few days from when it appeared. What would be causing this? They are not raised and are definitely under the surface of the skin. Thanks.

Hello

Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern. I reviewed the picture.

It is petechiae. They usually occur whenever there might be some derangement in the coagulation profile or when you are intaking medications like aspirin and Clopidogrel to thin the blood.

It would be best to visit your doctor who can call for blood tests to check the coagulation profile and then decide the further course of action depending on the test results.

Please let me know if you have any queries. Take care
