RBC, protein in URINALYSIS test. Should I worry?

Resolved question:
I had a urinalysis test done, the doctors said that they saw rbc in the dip test. So they sent it out, and it came back no Bladder Infection. But they did say that the trace was "small" on their scale...and there was some protien as well. Is this something I should be worried about?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I want to know your gender and age. I will also like to see the report of urinalysis.
I shall also be keen to know if you had any symptoms.

Protein trace in urine is fine and should not be worried about.
Kindly send me all the information so that I can be of greater help.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Female. Age 30
i don't have the test in front of me, all I know is they told me it was "small" on the test. So I have to RE test BECAUZE it wasn't a bladder infection. No oter symptoms. I went it for a routine. I just want to know what number of RBC equals "small" on the results... And is that usually call for concern?

Hello,.
Females can have 4-8 RBC per hpf and that is considered normal. It appears that you had very minimal RBC in the urine examination and it is not a matter of concern.
Stay reassured and nothing needs to be done.

Feel free to discuss further,

Sincerely
