Renal CALCULI on both sides. URETEROSCOPY, SHOCK WAVE THERAPHY?

Resolved question:
Hi,
I am suffering from Renal Calculi. Both the kidneys has stones. Kindly refer to my current/latest report for your reference.

Doctor suggested I should go for Ureteroscopy followed by Shock Wave Therapy to break the stones. I am not willing to operate it. Need a suggestion.
Considering my situation, is Ureteroscopy is the only option to get rid of Stones or medicines may help.

Kindly suggest. Need an honest reply.

Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I reviewed your reports and in all probability you will need the procedure. However, I will advise you a few medicines for 2 weeks and repeat the ultrasound then.
1)T. Cefixime 200 mg twice daily for 5 days
2)T. Defcort 6 mg twice daily for 5 days
3)T. Veltam 0.4 mg once daily for 14 days
4)T. Drotin thrice daily for 5 days
5)T. Signoflam twice daily for 5 days

Drink glass of water every 2 hrs. Don't overdo water.
Repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks

This medical treatment can bring it out without any intervention.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.

Thanks for your reply. I am done with my C T Scan also. Please see the reports and now suggest if stones will pass on its own. I am worried about the ones stuck in ureter. I am taking medicines and its very painful but I am hopeful if stones may pass. Kindly suggest.

Dear sir
The two stone are at the junction of kidney and ureter. These stone should come out with extra corporeal lithotripsy. It does not involve any surgery. Electromagnetic rays are focused on the stone from outside to break it and then it passes into ureter.
General public usually refers to this as laser treatment.

Take care
Sincerely
