Severe pain in chest when urinating, overweight.

Resolved question:
Twice in the last 2 days I have had severe pain in my chest, slightly to the left and down through my arm when urinating. It lasts approx 10 seconds. This happened a couple of times (maybe 5) about a year ago. I'm 32, female, fit (I just ran a marathon) but overweight (180lb 5ft 6).
No other symptoms.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Though there is no direct link between urination and chest pain, it could occur due to muscular pain, or other cardiac causes. Since this happened even an year age, it is better to get some investigations done for a conclusive diagnosis. I will advise you:
1) ECG
2) ECHO
3) CBC
4) Urine Routine
5) RFT
Kindly get these tests done and also get your BP checked. Once you have the reports, get back to me and I will guide you further,
Regards.
