Small spot near eye due to ALLERGIC REACTION.

Hello Dr,

I am here to learn about something happened to my wife.. She got like an allergy in her skin (NOT sure) and want to be sure about it, pictures attached for your kind review. What you see in the pictures is small spot near to her eye which also happened to her when she traveled to a nearby city in Yemen and ate chicken there, no what happened in her nick has gone away, but still the same issue with small spot near to her eye in her face.

More information about the patient:

Gender: Female
Age: 17 years
No pregnancy at the current time (negative at the moment)
Raised in a village with normal life style.
She used to put child-powder and it heal the issue partially

I can understand your concern and I am sorry for the delay in my response.
This seems to be a fungal infection called Tinea.
It requires an oral anti-fungal tablet called Terbinafine (250 mg/day in 1-2 divided doses for 2-4 weeks) and Terbinafine cream to be applied on the affected areas, twice a day.
You will need a prescription from a doctor for these medications.
In case it doesn't resolve with these medications in two weeks, it would be best to consult your dermatologist who can physically examine her and confirm the diagnosis.
