Soreness, pain in shoulder when lifting hand. Cause?

Resolved question:
Hello, I am having some pain in my left shoulder that I woke up with Friday morning. Originally it was both shoulders and I figured it was just soreness because I completed an extremely rigorous back workout Thursday afternoon, there was no pain post workout. My right shoulder is nearly back to 100% but unfortunately the left still continues to be very sore today (Wednesday.) The soreness seems to be coming from my infraspinatus muscle and I cannot lift my left arm above my shoulder without pain. It hurts the worst if i try to lift my left arm up and do a front bicep pose. I guess that is when the external flexors of the rotator cuff are very active. I am a bodybuilder, but this was not an acute injury. I have full strength with resisted lateral rotation, and no pain at all. The pain only comes when i lift the shoulder above my head. My ROM is coming back very slowly.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have read complete details of your question .
It looks that you are having shoulder pain after vigorous exercise .It looks that most probably you may have bursitis at shoulder region.
At present you should have a mild analgesic and anti inflammatory medicine like Advil .Do ice fomentation over shoulder. You should also keep yourself away from strenuous exercises for few days.
Hope this will help you.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
