Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
You have elevated levels of cholesterol and LDL that might be the reason of itching. Keep using antidiabetics and the medicine prescribed for itching it will alleviate the symptoms. You need to do following lifestyle modifications.
Restrict alcohol and smoking
Exercise daily for 30 minutes like running, fast paced walking
Reduce saturated and trans saturated fats
Take food containing omega-3 fatty acid and diet high in fibre (beans, barley, prunes, citrus fruits, apples, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and apricots)
Lipid lowering drugs may also help with prescription from your doctor
Hope it helps

Hi Doctor, may I know what are the omega-3 fatty acid foods.Thanking you.

Hello,
Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fats that are found to be effective in the prevention of heart diseases. You can take fish oil supplements containing DHA and EHA (OMEGA 3 fatty acids). Foods include fish (e.g. salmon, sardine, tuna), walnut, flaxseed oil, canola oil, shrimps, catfish, spinach, cauliflower.
Reduce consumption of all dairy products, red meat and chocolates. Have plenty of fruits and green vegetables in diet.
Hope it helps
