Hello

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

I can understand your concern .

I couldn't see anything abnormal. I couldn't appreciate any bump or swelling. Can you share a clearer picture? I would recommend that you visit a gynaecologist to let her physically examine it. Any other associated symptoms?
Feel free to discuss further,

Take care
NOTE FROM INHOUSE PHYSICIAN :
Based on the nature of your consult, we habe requested our gynaecologist to also give her opinion regarding the same. Kindly wait for her advise too. Also if it's possible, you can mail a clearer picture to us. A pointed arrow at the swelling site will be helpful.

Regards.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have attached three more pictures to show exactly where im talking about. I am not sure if that is just part of the vagina or is something i should be concerned about. Im pretty sure its been there awhile and i have no symptoms. I was googling (i know i shouldnt) and came across urethral diverticulum which is what sparked my concern.

Hello,
Thank you for the repeat pictures.
May I request for a few more details?
1) What is your age?
2) Have you had pregnancies / childbirth before?
3) Since when have you noticed this swelling?
4) Does it cause you any symptoms or is it just there?
5) Do you have to push this back while urinating?
Regards

Im 23

I have noticed it months ago

never have pushed it back for anything.

Hello,
I do not think it is a urethral diverticulum.
In my opinion, it is just a protrusion of the anterior vaginal wall.
Normally it should not be visible so obviously, but it sometimes happens when the vagina is roomy and the walls are lax.
In my opinion, this is nothing to worry about.
You should, however, understand that my opinion is limited to my evaluation based on the pic.
You need to see a specialist Ob-Gyn who would thoroughly examine you and confirm this diagnosis.
Hope this was helpful
Regards.

Thank you for your respone.
If it is Urethral Diverticulum or a Urethral cyst, does it have to be taken out if it is asymptomatic? Also, is there the possibility that it can just be drained?

Expert:  Dr. Aarti Vazirani replied 1 Day.

Hello ,
If it is a cyst or a diverticulum, yes it has to be removed.
Drainage is generally not an option
But I don't think it is either of those.
