Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
You have non infective hepatitis, and hence the values are deranged.
But they can be brought under control and that can be done with lifestyle modification.
You need to completely stop having junk food, because your liver has already been compromised with fatty liver. The issue is you can control fatty liver, you can't treat it. If fatty liver is not controlled, later it can turn into cirrhosis. Hence you need to be careful about your diet, avoid oily food and junk food as much as you can, avoid very fatty food, limit your non veg consumption ( mostly red meat ). Along with all this i will aslo advise you to go for 45 min- 1 hour brisk walk everyday.
At least for the next 2 weeks you need to be put on bland diet, mostly relying on veg soups, rice, daal, non spicy vegetable, also avoid wheat products, and dairy products. It will cause more flatulence and indigestion. Have more of fruits and vegetables, that will also help in limiting the toxins level. The liver needs times to recover, and hence you have to particular about your diet.
Even for the future, if you can modify your diet and start exercising, your liver will become normal.
As of now a bland diet and these medicines will help :
1) Tab. Liv 52 DS, 1-0-1, 1 in the morning empty stomach and 1 at bed time to be continued for a month.
2) Syp. Silymarin 2 teaspoons at bed time for 2 weeks.
I will also advise you to get an ultrasound whole abdomen done and upload the reports soon for me to review.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.

Thanks!! Doctor for such a detailed explanation. It is really helpful. I have few questions.
1. When you say I have non infective hepatitis, what does that mean Will this hepatits slowly damage my liver like other Viral hepaitits.
2. In current situation am I at any danger of Complete liver damage or cancer or serious conditions..
3. If I follow all the instructions which you gave given, will my Liver recover to normal.
4. I will stop drinking alcohol and also stop non-veg food, how fast this will help.
5. What kind of fruits I should eat most.
6. Any special drink like Limewater, Wheat Grass mixed water, Noni Drink.. Can these help my recovery faster.

I will get my ultrasound done soon and share the report. Also before going for ultrasound will like to know should I be expecting any thing serious in my ultrasound report.. so that I can be ready for it.

Regards
Rohit

Hello,
Non infective hepatitis definitely has a better prognosis because it is not chronic and can be treated. It is mostly associated either with drugs, or alcohol, or inflammation, and mostly an exact cause can't be ascertained. However in your case, the major chronic diseases have been ruled out and that has a good prognosis.
In your case the enzymes are elevated mostly due to the fatty liver disease. The measures i mentioned such as avoidance of alcohol, junk food, and keeping your weight under control with regular exercise will help your liver recover and the liver enzymes will be normal in 1-3 months.
The only reason i am asking you to get ultrasound of the liver is to chekc the size of your liver. There is no scare of anything serious. So please do not worry.
Fruits such as apples, lime, guava, cucumber will be very helpful in detoxifying your liver too.
I won't recommend other drinks or noni. They are not helpful. You can have fresh fruit juices but avoid sugar or sweet fruits such as mangoes, or oranges.
Along with USG Whole Abdomen, also get your Cholesterol levels checked and upload the reports, so that i can guide you in your last follow up.
If you follow the measures i said, you can expect completely normal liver in a matter of 3 months.
Regards.
