Agitated pain, weakness in arm with C6/C7 LAMINECTOMY.

Resolved question:
I'm recovering from cervical spinal surgery (c3/c4 fused, front incision/c6/c7 laminectomy rear incision). Surgery completed 14 weeks ago. I recently traveled by plane and agitated the pain and weakness in my arm and back (pulling a suitcase, moving my neck). I'm wondering how likely it is this agitation is temporary.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have read your query with diligence.
If there is recent development of weakness then it may be of serious nature. This may be related to your excessive movement .If this is increasing then you should get yourself checked with your Doctor. This may be due to compression of bony or soft tissue component on your spinal cord, which needs to be examined by a doctor.
Hope this will help you.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

thank you doctor. I saw a spine specialist doctor today. He examined me carefully. There is no weekness. He indicated my pain could be increased inflamation. He is doing an x-ray and MRI tomorrow. is no weakness a good sign?
