Anxiety regarding CANCER causing FASLSE NEGATIVE HIV TEST.

Resolved question:
hello sir ur answer reg hiv false negative made my anxiety worse . that means if i have got a hidden cancer god forbid then my hiv architect combo antigen and antibody after 6 months and elisa after 8 months could have been false negative side u saying cancer can cause hiv false negative test .please sir clarify . thanks in advance .

sorry i am asking u so many questions  just i have got google anxiety and i went to doctor who told me to stop google but first clear all doubts from google earlier . so why i am asking this  is i did all tests . all tests were fine . i did  ct scan full body without contrast . i read somewhere it cannot pick small tumours in g i tract . so am asking again with no sysmtoms  could that small tumour if caused low immunity level to result in hiv false negative test or if it would have caused low immunity level it should have been picked by ct scan of abdomen without contrast.
and also if it would have been in prostate also .with all tests clean i mean us and ct scan without contrast
please reply all parts of questions in detail once and for all to clear all this from google. sorry i know i am asking may be silly questions but i need to clear the google stuuf accmulated earlier  sir. thanks in advance

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am sorry I made your anxiety worse.
You have nothing to worry about, firstly because you have no symptoms suggestive of any tumor in your bowel. And secondly you took the antigen-antibody combo test, even if the antibodies are negative, antigen will be caught in that test even for immunocompromised people.
Yes google leads to such anxieties. However with my professional opinion, I can guarantee you have no reason to be worried.
Regards.

thanks just wanted to clear if any tumour in bowel or prostate would have caused low immunity level to create false negative hiv would it have been picked by ct scan without contrast with me having no symtoms . just for my satisfaction sir . thanks in advnce i mean if the tumour causes low immunity level to create fals negative hiv test then it should be big enough to do such adamage to be picked by scan . i mean i am logically thinking. asking ur reply. i asked many people but every body said hidden cancers dontcause hiv false negative at alll . please ellaborate hope this would be last question sir thanks in advance

See the point is even if you had low immunity, antigen test will be positive no matter what. It is only when body's immunity is low, antibodies do not get formed and antibody can be negative.
You got the combo test done, so if antigen was positive it would have showed up in the blood test.
I did not imply hidden cancer can cause HIV, I meant only in those with immunodeficient states, their HIV antibody test may be negative. I am sorry if I confused you in any way.

sir i dont want to disturb u again and again just want to clear the anxiety with cancer also . i mean can u tellme please if a tumour makes a body immunocompressed from gi trackt or prostate it should be either big enough to be picked by ct scan without contrast or also it should cause any other symtoms i mean it cannot imunocompress the body silently . can it that is what i am asking sir .it shouod either grow big or start spreading to other organs like that . that is why i mean if if it has immnocompressed a body then it should be picked by ct scan without contrast. that is what i am asking i mean small tumours which even cannot be picked by ct scan without contrast and also give no other symtoms whatsoever can they immunocompress the immune sytem still being small .and be cause of false negative hiv test. i hope i made it clear please explain sir sorry for bothering u

Yes even if the tumor hampers immunity, it will be picked up by CT.
And moreover immunity has nothing to do with symptoms. It will show symptoms like regular bleeding in stool, complete loss of appetite and weight, and it will be easily detected by CT.
So please do not worry.
Also even if they are minute and not picked up by CT, they won't lead to any kind of false negative HIV test.
In a nutshell you do not have HIV.
Regards.
