Hello, I understand that you are suffering from bad breath. This could be due to various causes. There are other factors responsible for bad breath such as: strong foods like garlic, onion and coffee, smoking, gum disease, food stagnation between the teeth, dry mouth, post nasal drip, throat or tonsil infection, polyps, sinusitis, mouth breathers.90% of bad breath are due to problems in the mouth, tongue. The other 10 % of problem is due to improper brushing of teeth and cleaning of the tongue. Anyways there is a simple test known as Lick and Sniff test that you can do on your own to confirm it. If the bad breath is due to mouth or tongue problems, it is better to consult the dentist and rule out the causes. Dental flossing and using a mouthwash can reduce the bad breath. If it still continues, then it could be due to other causes like gingivitis or periodontics. You can also sugar free chewing gums if your mouth feels dry. Eat a healthy diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Clean the tongue regularly with a tongue cleaner because the bacteria will be present on the back of the tongue. Avoid the use of coffee and visit your dentist regularly. Hope this helps. Thank you.
