Blister like things and small lip colored bumps on lips

Resolved question:
Over one week ago, my lips tones and within a few minutes these blister-like things appeared on my lips, I assumed I was having a HS1 outbreak, so I took something my dermatologist prescribed. The blisters don't seem as apparent but they did not ooze or crust over. They look red note, and I also noticed many small bumps on my lips, same color as my lips. I've included pictures. If there is anything you can suggest, or let me know if it's HS1 as I thought or maybe something else. I haven't kissed my partner since the flare up began.

Hello

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com. I can understand your concern.

From the pictures, it seems to be fordyce's spots. These are ectopic sebaceous glands. That is oil glands which are present on the lips where they are not usually present.

They are benign and look like skin colored bumps.

There are no fluid filled visible blisters, however you can send me a photo which is not a close up, I can appreciate it better.

There is no treatment required for it. They are only of cosmetic significance and cause no harm.

Hope I have answered all your queries. Please feel free to discuss further.

Ok, so there is no relation to HS1 and I should be able to kiss my partner without worrying? Here are some pictures of my lips zoomed out a bit.

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

I would still suggest that there are no blisters on the lips to suggest that it is herpes infection.

Fordyce's spots have no relation to hsv.

Hope I have answered your queries.
