Burnt skin with blisters after RADIATION to chest wall.

Resolved question:
I just finished radiation to the chest wall, axilla and clavicle a week and a half ago. They really burnt my skin, and it has blisters that are now crusting over.

What is worrying me is that I have what feels like pain in my rib (lower than my mastectomy scar, but IN the radiation area). It is very tender and this pain comes and goes. I worry that it is mets. The oncological radiology nurse told me that it could just be deep tissue damage from the radiation.

Does radiation ever make ribs hurt? I'm hoping so, because I don't want it to be mets.  Also, I finished the radiation 1 1/2 weeks ago.  This pain started just a few days ago and seems to be getting worse, not better.

Hello
Thanks for posting your query on DoctorSpring.com
Are the bumps itchy? On which areas of the body are the bumps located? Is it all over or just on some specific areas?
Could you send a few more pics of the other areas?
It looks like a bacterial infection of the skin called Folliculitis and I need more pictures to to make sure that it's not following drug intake. Please be reassured that the pictures and information you send to us remain confidential.
She can apply Mupirocin cream on the affected areas twice a day.
I look forward to your reply, please feel free to ask further questions
