Hai doctor,
I am a 55 years old lady. I have type 2 diabetes also. Now I am going through my menopause. I am experiencing hot flashes now-a-days. Should I use OTC medicines to get a relief? Or should I consult my Gyn or GP? Please help.

Of them, some may influence blood sugar levels which can go against your diabetes. So, it is wise to talk with your doctor, before going for a self treatment. He can advise you with this and can suggest some better medication than OTC drugs. The one which your doctor prescribes will surely suit your personal needs.
