Cannot move shoulder due to pain after accident.

Resolved question:
During a skiing accident I've injured my left shoulder. I fell straight on to the ground with my arms in front. I suppose that my left arm took most of the pressure when I hit the ground.

At this stage I have pain in my left shoulder and cannot move my arms to the left side as the pain becomes unbearable in that position. As long as my arm is in a resting position the pain is managable. Attached I am sending you a video of the fall as well as an X-Ray picture of my left shoulder joint.

Do you think this is something which requires further medical attention or do I just need some time to recover?

Many thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have read your query with diligence. After going through your x ray it looks that you may be having avulsion of periosteum over the acromion bone of shoulder, it means there is associated injury to rotator cuff which is a muscle of shoulder. At present you should keep your arm in pouch arm sling.
You may also have a MRI investigation to rule out any other injury. At present, you should do cold fomentation over your shoulder & take a good analgesic like Ibuprofen for relief.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
