Hello,
Thank you for your medical query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Herpes Simplex 2 mostly has lesions in the genital area, so, the chances of the infection being spread through kissing is quite low. Only a few cases of HSV-2 has genital and mouth sores. Moreover, when she does not have an outbreak, the chances are quite lower.
Only in very rare cases, even without outbreak the infection can be spread. But if your immunity is good, that should not happen.
Hope this was helpful,
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
