Chances of HEART BLOCK with abnormal EKG, normal STRESS TEST.

Resolved question:
Hello i have pain in my lower left side sort of the upper part of my belly.
Iam seeing a cardiologist and they have ordered a nuclear stress test. Iam 26 years old patientold. And i have schizoaffective disorder and ulcerative colitis. I had blood work done and everything was normal. Iam about 60 pounds overweight. Is it possible i have a blockage in my heart? The doctor said there was an abnormality on my ekg but my stress test came back fine. I think iam too young to have heart disease although iam 5 foot 8 and 226 pounds.

Hello.
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Could you describe the pain that you get. Is it exertional? Localised or diffuse? Pricking burning heaviness or discomfort?

Do you have comorbidities like high bp diabetes smoking, alcohol or family history?
Your age makes you very low probability for coronary artery diseases. Moreover your normal stress test also certifies the same. I think the pain is probably not related to coronary artery disease. Still could you reply about the nature of the pain

Hello, thank you for your response. Now my pain in my upper belly has gone away and now iam just extremely lightheaded and occasional chest pains. My chest pains are usually sharp and my lightheadedness is continuous. I take anti anxiety and anti depressants, anti psychotics and apriso for my colitis. I dont know if i should go to the hospital or not.

Hello.

Sharp chest pain with age 26 and normal treadmill test indicates it as a non coronary artery disease pain. If the pain is quite severe and increasing on inspiration it could signify lung pathology or pericarditis. If its stabbing and exceedingly intolerable then it should be investigated for things like aortic dissection. If it is mild pain increasing on movements then likely it is musculoskeletal and may be managed at home with analgesics or ointments.

ok I apologize i forgot to answer some of your questions.I do not have high bp, diabetes or smoke.I do consume alcohol occasionally. My pain is usually only on my left side and it is about a 4 or a 5 on a scale of 1-10. Do you know what the irregularity on the ekg might be? Also i have continuous lightheadedness and it has started ever since i went to the doctor for my stress test and gotten worse ever since he told me i need a nuclear stress test. Do you think it may be due to stress and anxiety?

Hello again,
Thanks for getting back.

It would be helpful if you can upload the ecg. You have a normal stress test. Were you still advised nuclear stress test? I am sure I am missing some part of the story here. Could you upload your stress test reports as well.
