Hello,

Thank you for approaching DoctorSpring with your query.
Your daughter is suffering from chronic adenoiditis with hypertrophied adenoids.
1ST line treatment will be medical management for 3 months, if no improvement then only we need to plan for surgery. Medical management includes:
Mometasone (Metaspray) 1 puff once daily for 3 months.
Syr. Timinic/solvincold 2.5 ml two times daily for 15 days.
More than 50 percent of children do not require surgery if they use regular nasal spray. This spray does not have any side effect and is very safe for children.
So I will suggest to start medical management, as surgery for this is very elective and we can even plan after 1 year, I think if you use regular medicine we will able to avoid the surgery.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank you.

Regards
