Diffuse uterus in ULTRASOUND. Need for MRI?

Resolved question:
My ultrasound came back.the radiologist said he didn't see anything abnormal, but that I had a mildly diffuse uterus.what does this mean and why do he want me to do an mri if he didn't see anything abnormal.im really worried.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
' Mildly diffuse uterus ' is an unrecognized and very vague terminology.
Based on these three words , it is impossible for me to determine what your radiologist meant.
I would request you to upload the exact ultrasound scan report.
Also, I would want you to tell me a bit more about yourself - your age, symptoms, why was the scan done etc ?
Only then would I be able to answer you in a more specific manner.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.

I don't have the ultrasound scan.I went to my primary care doc.about a hemorrhoid.he was feeling on my stomach and said my uterus felt large,he then ask me questions about my cycle,I told him that I just started back having them about three or four months ago and that the only symptoms I had were pms symptoms 2 weeks before my cycle.the symptoms go away after my cycle.not a lot of cramping,no heavy bleeding, just a normal period.no pain during intercourse.I didn't have a period for almost ten months, the dr.don't know why.they did a hormone test, but it wasn't showing menopause.when I started back having them, they were normal cycles.mild back pain before cycle,go away when cycle star, cycle last 3 sometimes 4 days.the radiologists said he didn't see anything abnormal, just a mildly diffuse enlarge uterus and recommended a mri.I don't understand if nothing abnormal was seen why the mri?why did he use the word diffuse which means spreaded??I am 41 yrs.old.4 csections, high blood pressure.I am a little over weight for my height.recently been exercising, lost some weight, plan on losing more.my race is Asian and black

Thank you for the update.
Diffusely enlarged means uniformly enlarged, and not at any one point.
It is normal finding in some women, particularly after multiple childbirths.
If you do not have symptoms, there is nothing to worry about.
Also, I really cannot say why they are ordering an MRI, because I do not have the ultrasound scan in hand.
Please try and get a copy across to me, only then can I offer a proper opinion.
Regards.
