Unfortunately, there is no medical way of ensuring the gender of a baby you will conceive in the future. The human genome is made up of 23 pairs of chromosomes (which contain all of our genetic information). One pair is the sex chromosomes which determines whether we are male or female. As a female, you have XX chromosome, your husband being male will have XY. When your child is conceived, and chromosomes are arranged, there exists a 50% chance of your child’s sex chromosome combination being 50%. What this means for you, is that each time you have unprotected sex, the chance of conceiving a baby boy remains 50% (there also exists an equal 50% chance that it will be a girl).
Also, it would be advisable for your health as well as the health of the baby that you maintain a gap of minimum 2 years between consecutive pregnancies.
