Thanks for the question. Erection problem may be caused due to emotional disturbance. There are more complex combination of erection problem like psychological, neurologic, hemodynamic, mechanical and hormonal components. Due to stress and performance anxiety cause erectile dysfunction, it may vary from partner or circumstances, which is more in younger men having morning erection. Depression and anxiety also add to this psychological components. Neurologic problems in brain or spinal cord also add to erection problem, which usually occurs with urination and defecation. Clog in the blood vessels may also result in this problem. Due to high blood pressure or diabetes problem may clog the blood vessels supplying the penis, which prevents erection. Hormonal problems like thyroid hormones and low testosterone may result in erection problem. Trazodone is a drug which would help in erectile dysfunction, but it would be better to consult a doctor before taking it. The another option available is injection therapy, were a drug would be directly injected into the penis to maintain erection. There is also pellet therapy were a small suppository would be inserted into the urethra which would improve erectile dysfunction. The penis replacement would be the last resort. It would be better to consult a doctor to know which one would be best for you.
