Fatigue and large bruises on legs

Resolved question:
I am 23 years old. Female. Over the last month I've noticed that I am very fatigued no matter how much sleep I get. I've been getting random large bruises on my legs even though I know I haven't run into anything. They take about 2 weeks to go away but more always pop up. I've lost about 20 pounds in the last 3 months due to a very decreased appetite. I also keep getting a sharp pain in my right side. I went to a doctor a few weeks ago about the pain and was having some blood in my urine. He said I didn't have an infection and when the blood went away he said it might have just been kidney stones. This weird bruising is starting to concern me though. I hate going to the doctor and I'm just wondering if this is something I need to get checked out.

Hello,

Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring.

Yes these symptoms will need evolution for sure. You should NOT hesitate !
The bruised could be from a immune phenomenon or low platelets. Loss of weight is a concern indeed. The blood in urine also needs evaluation. Although kidney stones could cause it, other symptoms could not be explained. There are many possible differential diagnosis in this stage. However before pointing towards a diagnosis you will require at set of tests (including, but not limited to)

1. Complete Blood count
2. Renal Function Test
3. Liver function test
4. Urine Routine (Protein , Microscopy )
5. Ultrasound abdomen.
6. ANA
7. HIV (if there is high risk sexual behaviour in past)

If you have any of these blood test do udpate me with the results. You can reply as a followup. Thank you
