As far as I can see from the picture, there is a rash that is spreading upwards, and most probably is due to contact dermatitis.
Can you tell me the exact duration of this rash? Is it spreading or was it of sudden onset?
Have you taken any medication till now?
I will advise Tab. Claritin 10 mg once daily at bedtime for 3 days, and revert back to me.
I have marks on my back for a long time (1 year +) buts its hard to put a specific time frame on it. However they have not appeared this prominent. I completed a workout and attended a sunbed session for 3 minutes 2 hours before the photo was taken so I thought potentially that brought it on.
I have taken no medication other than a few 'lemsip flu drinks' as I have had a cold for the past few days.
If it is present for that long, it seems like hyperpigmented pityriasis versicolor.
Kindly use ketoconazole cream on top of it twice daily for 2-3 weeks and let me know if it helps.
