Grade-2 ITC with positive ESTROGEN CELLS. Is that good?

Resolved question:
1.  I am worried that my Grade 2 status will make my highly positive estrogen cells (ALLRED 8 or higher) mutate faster than they should. Is this true? Or does the Grade 2 not matter? I am mitosis level 1.  Tubule 3.  And nuclear grade 2.  Which all adds up to 6 on the Nottingham scale.

2.  You said that it is good that only a few cells might mutate.   But I consider that bad.  The ITC's will metastasize if they mutate away from estrogen positivity, right?

Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.

The Nottingham scale is a grading scale which is used to determine the long term prognosis. Your value of 6 puts you at intermediate grade. However this scale cannot be used to predict which cells will mutate, when they will mutate or how fast do they mutate. The rate of mutation is a theoretical calculation. With your good prognostic features, I do expect a favourable outcome.

Therefore rest assured, I have evaluated your case with diligence. With your good prognostic features, I do expect a favourable outcome.

Hope this helps, Please feel free to discuss further.
