Headache, tension due to family, work problems

Resolved question:
Hi,
I think due to family relationship, hard work in front of computer, since I came back from holidays, I have some very slight headaches
My action plan is as follows
- search for help for family matters
- delegate as much as I can at work
- taking two days off on thursday and friday and saturday with no computers
- walking 30 minutes per day
- meditation as much as I can
- diet with fruits and vegetables and some dark chocolate I enjoy
- drastic reduction of workflow
- mint essential oils
- sophrology
- herbal cooling teas
- reduction as much as I can of computers and TV screens
Can you see other remedies to cope with it fast ?
Regards,
T.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
The most effective remedy to cope with tension headache is obviously to get rid of the stress, and without that's it's a recurring thing. You have listed out nearly all the methods except for medication and green tea. Green tea is rich in anti-oxidants and helps to reduce the overall stress levels.
If it's mild the methods you have employed especiaaly, taking time off in between work will be helpful. If it's hampering your work then medicines like advil once a day after food will be helpful.
Try to limit the usage of computer/ laptops. It puts a lot of pressure on your eyes and leads to a vague headache all the time. May be you can consider using a screen guard to reduce the intensity of rays that hits your eyes directly from the computer screen.
Meditation if continued over a period of time will definitely be helpful. So try to develop a habit of meditating twice a day 15 minutes each. Even mild walking and yoga will be beneficial.
Hope this was helpful,
Feel free to ask further queries.
Regards.
