HEMORRHAGE/CALCIFICATION in PARIETAL cortex in MRI.

Hi,

I wanted to see if I could get some analysis on my recent MRI results which read:

FNDINGS:

There is a 4 mm lesion in the left parietal cortex which
demonstrates low T1, T2, and diffusion signal without associated
magnetic susceptibility artifact to suggest hemorrhage, likely
representing a calcification. The brain is otherwise normal in
signal intensity and morphology for the patient's age. There are
no suspicious areas of parenchymal T2 hyperintensity. No mass
effect, hydrocephalus or evidence for hemorrhage.






IMPRESSION:

1. Tiny low signal lesion in the left parietal cortex which may
represent a calcification, most likely related to prior
granulomatous disease. This finding could be confirmed by CT if
clinically indicated.

2. No evidence of vascular malformation, vascular mass, or
enlarged cerebral vessels. If there is strong clinical suspicion
for glomus jugulare, temporal bone CT would be recommended.
