Resolved question:
I had miscarriage in January i was 10 weeks I have seen my dr several times and shes done ultra sounds but in feb and march i had 2 periods then from april 9 to may 10 i was normal no second period but now im starting another period i just dont feel like im getting answers from my dr. she justs keeps saying it takes months for the body to be regular.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope your feeling better now. Following a Miscarriage the body takes a while to heal. The dilatation and Curettage procedure is done to evacuate the remnants. Post the D-C the patient may experience bleeding for about 10 days. The Next period will resume only after four to six weeks as it takes that much time for the ova (egg) to be released .So in regard to your question, The two periods you had in Feb and march were bleeding following the procedure. And now since it s been around 4-6 weeks, your periods will be more regular. There s nothing to worry about. If this irregularity in the periods continues even after a month then you can consult your Obg-gyn doctor.
