Resolved question:
On April 24 I started My Period, the 27 it ended and the 30 of april, 5 and 7 of may, I had unprotected
sex then the 13 of may I Started bleeding again, light cramping, the bleeding was light then it would get medium, and it would just go back and forth from light to medium then the 17 it ended, I was supposed to start my period the 22, but I didn't, I am now a week late. I can't figure out if it was implantation bleeding or my period.

Hi, It is unlikely to be implantation bleeding as it does not occur for 5 days but I would recommend you to get a urine pregnancy test done, just in case. Implantation bleeding occurs in a few women due to the implantation of the fertilized ovum to the uterus. The bleeding is light pink and occurs for 2 days. It seems that you just have a case a missed cycle, but I will strongly advise you to get a pregnancy test. Here are my recommendations- 1) Buy a Urine pregnancy test kit form the drug store and check if you are pregnant 15 days after intercourse. 2) Avoid stress and have a healthy diet as absence of both can lead to hormonal imbalance in the body and manifest as irregular cycles. 3) Always use a method of contraceptive if you are not looking to get pregnant. You can either use barrier method like Condom or Diaphragm or a hormonal method like Oral contraceptive. Both are equally efficacious. If the UPT shows that you are pregnant, consult a gynecologist immediately for further management. Thank you.
